I don't know if Yahoo does this but from my Hotmail account if I report the e-mail as junk mail it gets sent back to the sender as such.
I would just send them an e-mail and tell them not to write anymore. Then I would report as junk mail next time. Or in Yahoos case SPAM mail. (but I don't know if Yahoo reports the mail back to the sender like Hotmail does.)
I want a blocked email sender to know they are blocked--can I do this? i use yahoo they use hotmail?
I really think a blocked user would know he/she is blocked, by the e-mail not getting through! (i.e. mail keeps returning)

Reply:Well, the only way I can think of is to email them first, that they're blocked. Then, block them.
Reply:Why do you want them to know? You'll have to send them an email telling them they are blocked.
