There is a program called Trillian, it combaines 4 or 5 chatting IM programs into one. It runs all accounts simultaneously.

Can I IM people from hotmail using IM for yahoo?
Trillian is indeed the best. I am currently running with Aim, Msn, Yahoo, Icq, and GoogleTalk simutaneously. They have plans to introduce MySpace messenger soon.
