I cannot remember my hotmail password and I cannot remember the answer to my security question, what can I do?

This happened to me once - I emailed them and answered some questions, such as the names of folders I had and some contacts etc - also my name + address - they let me in eventually.

You mean I'm not the only one that can't remember answer to a security question that I wrote eight years ago, for what is a three letter word for happiness besides sex? Vendors can read my information but I can't get any emails! Report Abuse

Reply:The security question is usually your mothers maiden name or where you were born. If you get this right you can request or change your password.

Reply:set up a new email account then write down the password and Q.A so you don't forget it next time
Reply:don't remember anything? then contact hotmail webmaster or if your mother have installed spy bidy in your computer you can find what all keys you have pressed? then you may find it ok ....
