Going to blocked websites is likely to get you into trouble and they probably made you sign something promising not to do it. Of course, Hotmail and Yahoo are not the only mail programs. Maybe you could find one that is not blocked. There are many free email sites, e.g. excite.com, mail.com, netscape.com, and try list from link below.

There should be no relationship between your Netscape and Yahoo! Mail :)

As far as I know, to get that feature you will need to pay a nominal fee. The same thing for Yahoo. However, I believe that GMAIL has an option to retrieve all mail from up to 5 accounts. If you are using google mail then see

You could pay for Yahoo Mail Plus, for POP3 access... or you could use something like YPOPs and then download it all into the desktop email client of your choice, such as Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.

For individual emails, at the bottom left of every message in Yahoo's webmail (at least in the classic version) is a link to save the text to your hard drive.

You could also just forward it all to a GMail account and use GMail's POP3 access to archive it in a desktop email client, as well, which would give you a copy on Yahoo/WLM, Gmail, and your local pc. If something were to happen to one of those, you would still have the other 2 copies to fall back on.

Only time you get that is on office networks where the mail adminstrator permits.

You can open it in Outlook, then do "Archive"

After that, switch to the other account and restore your e-mails

just create a shadow account in OE of your hotmails, you could do it by clicking tools on top then account then mail tab the add on the right hand side then mail it will ask for your display name, email address and the when you click on next it will give you your server details no need to change anything then again next type in you password next again then finish and close out of OE(outlook express) again open it click on hotmail click on synchronise and you will recieve all your emails but beware if you delete any email it will be delete in the hotmail server.........enjoy

Outlook does have a comfirmation, you have to go to tools and set it up, you can even tell it the you want a receipt that the email has been read.

No not now, you can have emails diverted to certain folders look under options. If I was you I would put my secruety level up on msn either deleting or stopping all junk mail.

As you have so many unread Emails they must have been in your email box awhile so I would delete them all except the most recent ones. after all if they need a reply it would be a bit late now.

I am sure hotmail will have the provision to search for people by their name. Just give the exact detail of your friend and it should give you the email id of your friends. However there are 2 situation in that you will not be given the email id of your friend:

1- If your friend did not enter his/her name correctly during the registration in hotmail

2- If your friend choose not to display his/her detail in public.

It is hard to answer this question. what are you using to check your email? are you using outlook? do you have your yahoo forwarded to hotmail or the other way around. anyway around it somewhere in your account setup it is set to put your hotmail account as the return address.

Panicking won't help. The answer and password might come to you. If it doesn't, you can contact Hotmail on the website and it's possible to change a password. Your secret answer needs to be something like the name of a hobby; a friend's or your mother's maiden name or a word you use often .... for example, 'terrific'. Yahoo are pretty good at helping you to change your password if you have forgotten. I no longer use Hotmail, as I find Yahoo much more user-friendly, but I'm sure Hotmail have a way of helping you recover from this.

Sorry, but I think you have lost your e-mail account - the whole point of secret questions and alternative e-mail addresses is to give you a back door to get into your account if you _do_ forget your password. I haven't used hotmail for a long time, but as far as I know you are locked out of it until you can remember either your password or secret answer. Maybe next time you need to set up a secret answer you can remember - that's one of the points of it.

So- go to yahoo.com - open up an e-mail address - once that is established - go back to hot mail , use the alternate e-mail address's as per instructions, password will be sent to the new address. Always keep your PW secure some where and keep an alternate e-mail acct.

1- if you have signed in msn on a public computer (in a cyber or netcafe), you might have forgot to sign out or you ticked the box saying sign me in automatically by mistake, and the rede person who came after you did this...

2- your email is hacked...

3- someone knows your password and did this..

if you have msn plus you can go to plus! %26gt;%26gt; then contacts on desktop and you will find all of them there and you can add them again.

Reply:Empty the cookies from your browser, and then try logging in again. I used to have the same problem and this worked for me. Hotmail uses cookies when you log in, supposedly for safety reasons. Sometimes there is a conflict.

I had install yahoo messenger, and the I start to add contacts from messenger (hotmail accounts) and suddenly i can麓t continue, the program just can麓t add contacts. A message came and said that the actions had take more time in the response so it can complete the operation.

驴why I can麓t continue add hotmail contacts to my list?
i really don't know but I'm having the same problem so maby we can try to do this together two heads are better then one.

after you sign in

go to options then click more options. then there is manage account, mail and so on. you can alter who sends you things and where your mail goes. sometimes your mail goes to junk so you can change that setting.

sometimes it is the server for Hotmail which is Microsoft that is not working in your area where you live. This happened to me last week and I emailed them and they told me there was a problem in my area I lived in. Hope tomorrow your hotmail works. I also lost all my emails I had when I was able to log in the next day so I no longer use hotmail as they are not reliable to use for work emails I had in my hotmail account.They told me someone got into my account and deleted all I had for where I work. I got yelled at from my boss and now no longer use hotmail. Hope you can log in tomorrow and do not find all of your emails are deleted.

you make a new folder and name it whatever you like

then, open the email or document and click on your folder

drop down list and click on what you named your own folder

and you'll keep it there for however long you like

Can I send and receive (hotmail) e-mails in Mail without going onto the internet to the hotmail site? - I will still use the online hotmail, when I'm away from my computer.

One on my friends suggested using Gmail, but there's too much hassle changing everything over. (all my internet shopping accounts, all the forums account, all my contacts I have stored). Plus I want to keep using Adium (all my friends have hotmail and MSN on Windows, but iChat doesn't work).

So I don't want Gmail for sending them all e-mails while still using hotmail to chat... I'd rather they'd all be under the one account (hotmail).

Apple mail allows you to use any mail account with POP access. Windows Live Hotmail Plus offers POP access, so there is no reason that you cannot use both, or POP Hotmail inside Apple Mail.

From Microsoft:

Our POP service requires that you use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) with the POP and SMTP connection and use SMTP authentication. This is to ensure that your email address and password are not subject to tampering. The settings are the following:

* POP: pop3.live.com (port 995)

* SMTP: smtp.live.com (port 25)

o Note: make sure you check the box that indicates that your outgoing server requires authentication (in most mail clients this is not checked by default).

* Username: your full email address

* Password: your Windows Live ID password

if you are getting .co.uk it's because they see your IP is coming from the UK. Find a proxy server in US and then signup and you'll get a .com rather than .co.uk
